Workmanship Warranty

2-Year Installation & Workmanship Warranty

DeckLab™ provides a 2-year warranty on all professional installations.

This covers:

  • Adhesive bonding failures

  • Lifting or peeling caused by improper installation

  • Misalignment or installation defects

  • Premature edge separation

  • Workmanship-related issues that impact fit, finish, or performance

If we installed it, we guarantee it.

If any workmanship issue occurs within the warranty period, DeckLab™ will repair or replace the affected material at no cost.

Material Warranty

Manufacturer Material Warranty

All decking material used by DeckLab™ is covered by the manufacturer’s limited material warranty, which typically includes:

  • UV resistance

  • Foam integrity

  • Delamination within the laminate

  • Early fading or discoloration beyond normal environmental variation

  • Premature surface breakdown

This warranty covers defects in the material itself — not installation conditions.

Exact coverage details may vary depending on the chosen material supplier.

DeckLab™ assists all customers with material warranty claims if needed.

What Is Not Covered

To ensure transparency, the following conditions are not covered under warranty:

  • Damage caused by negligence, misuse, or abuse

  • Cuts, gouges, burns, or tears from sharp objects

  • Dock rash, trailer skid damage, or impact damage

  • Stains from substances that degrade foam (fuel, solvents, harsh chemicals)

  • Fading due to improper cleaning or use of chemical cleaners

  • Normal wear and tear associated with heavy use

  • Installation performed by someone other than DeckLab™

  • Bonding failures caused by pre-existing deck contamination (fuel, silicone, oils) impacting adhesion

  • Warping or damage caused by excessive heat exposure in non-ventilated storage

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Step 1 – Contact Us

Email or call with a description of the issue.

Step 2 – Provide Photos

Send clear images of the affected areas (wide angle + close-ups).

Step 3 – Evaluation

Our team will inspect either remotely or in person depending on the issue.

Step 4 – Resolution

If the warranty applies, DeckLab™ will repair or replace the affected sections promptly.

Most claims are resolved within 10–14 days.

Care & Maintenance Requirements

Warranty coverage assumes the deck has been maintained properly.

For best results:

  • Avoid pressure washing at close distance

  • Use only approved cleaners

  • Rinse after saltwater exposure

  • Prevent long-term standing water when possible

  • Avoid dragging coolers, anchors, or gear

  • Keep fuel and solvents away from the surface
